After college i needed to start exercising after getting a desk job. So i bought a bike and started riding a few times a week. A coworker found out i biked and asked if she could join me. On our first ride she came with a helmet but left it when she saw i did not wear one she did tell me that she did not wear it all the time and it was fine. One week we ventured onto some busy city streets and she mentioned how she wished she had her helmet. I felt bad she was not wearing it on my account and had been noticing how many people wore helmets. . i started thinking investing in a helmet would be a wise decision. I found the smith persist in pink and was sold. On my next ride i was pumped to wear it. My friend was excited as well and said she was happy she could helmet as well. The fit is pretty stellar much the same as my ball cap. The straps are simple to adjust and it stays firmly on my head. The are plenty of vents to keep me cool and honestly it is not heavy or uncomfortable. Overall it is a very nice piece of equipment for the money.
